Jass rules in English?

I haven't played jass for many years and want to play again, but have forgotten the rules. I can only find them in German on the internet. Can anybody let me know where I can find these rules or even send them to me?

Much appreciated!

Hey that's a good website. Some minor remarks about their Schieber website, because Schieber probably is the most popular Jass:

I've never seen people quadrupling Undenufe points. I always triple Undenufe and Obenabe points. In Undenufe, the ace is 0 points and the six is 11.

I've also never seen people playing up to 3000 points. The norm is 2500 and the Bergpreis hence 1250. (A variant of the game is to set a 1000 point limit and not multiply Bells, Shields, Obenabe and Undenufe rounds. This reduces the element of luck but I don't know many who play in this way).

Bergpreis plays a role too. If teams play against each other for an extended period of time, or maybe in a tournament, there is a scoring system.

Bergpreis = 1 point

Victory = 2 points

Match = 1 point

Counter-Match (opposing team made the bid) = 2 points

We're tripling undenufe,quadrupling obenabe and quintupling slalom and we're also only playing up to 2'500,but with french cards not the german ones Then we also play after the new rules where 4 of the same count as hundred regardless what game you play e.g obeanbe,einfach or so

if anybody want to start a tournament with english speakers, I am game

Any Jass players around the EF these days?

I think they might all have found something more interesting.

I would love to find some Jass players in Basel....at the moment the only person I can play is the imaginary person in my iPhone
