Jello or similar in Zurich?

Anyone know where I can get Jello or something similar (for making jello shots) in Zurich? I went to the big Coop in Oerlikon on lunch today and didn't see anything that looked like it would work.

The Mexican food store (El Maiz) on Josefstrasse has Jello.

Or try the food section of Globus where you can get the UK equivalent:

Yum - love it!

Its called Jelly... not Jello. Jelly shots... ok? Got it?

"Jello" is a way of greeting people in cartoons, or if you're a hip guy around town and wear slacks.

you're both wrong: Jell-O

No, Jelly is from fruit that you put on toast or the like. Jello is the gelatinous substance made from horse cartilage which jiggles when you shake it, that also makes a fun booze delivery vesicle.

In the US if a particular company happens to have the market cornered on a particular item then the name for all things like it becomes the commerical name. Jell-O, Q-tips, cool whip etc.

No Jelly is the jiggles stuff, and you put jam on toast

Both Jelly and Jam go on toast. Respectively, one is made from juice, the other from whole fruit.

Jell-0 is the stuff that jiggles and has nothing to do with toast.

...and you can get it here too!

...and Harley's Jelly is not the one you put on bread...it is the UK equivalent to Jell-O

...and if you really can't be without the american version...go here!

So this thread has nothing to do with J-Lo who sometimes jiggles but I'm not sure if she eats toast.

They do indeed have honest to goodness "Jell-O" at el Maiz on Josefstrasse. I just picked up some lime, raspberry, and strawberry. All of the instructions are in Spanish, but I think I can figure it out.

Thanks for the tip, chemgoddess
