It is now more than 3 months that I am unemployed (actually almost 4 months) and I have not received any final feedback from the Kasse. I am not talking about receiving the money, I know this might take a while, I am just talking about receiving a final statement saying the amount I receive (Taggelder) and possible Einstelltage (as I self terminated my previous job).
After many follow calls, I finally found out, that what the Kasse is still waiting for is a document from my previous employer. Without that they cannot make the final calculation. They also told me that the employer is not sending them this document, despite few reminders. Note: they sent the reminders to the employer only after my calls to the AL Kasse.
I find all this situation totally ridiculous: when is the employee that does not send documents to the Kasse, gets somehow penalized, the employer is on the other side granted all the needed time.
In the calls with the Kasse I have the feeling (apart from few exceptions) that they take it very easy and try to delay things as much as possible. It seems they do not care and in many cases are not competent enough. I informed RAV on this and it seems they do not care that much as well. I was wondering how I could escalate the subject. If the employer does not answer (for whatever reason) why do I have to bear the negative consequences of this?
Is there any authority to which I could turn to report these facts and speed up things? I have read somewhere (I believe in Unia website) that for appeals / claims or whatever against the Kasse the unemployed person could turn to the Kantonal Sozialgericht. Is this the right way to proceed?
If anyone else had any similar experience, happy to receive some practical feedback.

PS: I know for sure that in Germany for any similar cases, the competent authority is the Sozialgericht and they act pretty fast. I assume this should be the case also in CH?
Have you called your previous employer and asked them why they are not sending the documents? Or did you contact them in any other way, letting them know that this is still open?
Why do I have to call my old employer, this is an official communication between the Kasse and the employer. Why do I have to call them? Am I supposed to do also the job that the Kasse is supposed to do ?
I think roegner suggested that because it might be a way to get things moving faster.
After all, your previous employer, the RAV and the Kasse all have no interest whatsoever in your getting unemployment benefits. Since it is you who has the interest, sometimes it's worth making the extra effort (irrespective of whose job it officially might be) to set the communication going between all the parties, so that you can get what you want.
1. Arbeitgeberbescheinigung (Employer Certificate): The RAV registered job-seeker is to send this form to the former employer and the former employer is to complete it and return it to the job-seeker. The job-seeker is to then send it to the Kasse.
2. impuls Legal Service: If the employer does not cooperate, the job-seeker should discuss with the RAV adviser. The RAV adviser can then contact impuls to request legal assistance:
I have already sent everything to the Kasse. I do not need to send them anything!
What the Kasse is waiting for is a document from the old employer, this means that the Old Employer has to send this missing document to The Kasse (not to me).
I'm guessing you've had a falling out with your old employer. A gentle push in their direction might help remind them to send on the documents. What do you have to lose?
Unfortunately no. To get all the paperwork to RAV is your responsibility. And, to the best of my knowledge, in 2021 one, sorry - myself, had to take a very annoying 🙂 test to even be able to register with RAV. The successful completion of the test confirms that you are familiar with the procedure. And again - without taking this test - I got it right for the 6th time I think - it is impossible to register.
If you want to be told you're right, well...you're right. From the story you wrote, it's the ex-employer responsibility to produce and send some docs to RAV. However, as you already found, being right doesn't produce any results in the real world. You have to get things done regardless of being right.
Take responsibility and become the project manager of a project called "registering to RAV and get unemployment payments". This is a very special project where only you care, no one else gives a single **** on the outcome.

I already took / passed the test the same day I registered the (I needed approx. 20 minutes) and I have sent all the documents on my side (as I mentioned already). I think you and other people do not understand my original post and my question. Better I turn to proper forum where people that answer have at least an understanding of my original question.
Last advice / question, any idea how I can deregister from this site / forum?
