Kenyan Cuisine?

Hey guys,

Wondering if any of you knew of a place that served Kenyan food such as:

Nyama Choma - Kenyan BBQ'd meat

Mishkaki - Grilled marintated kebabs

Ugali -Corn bread / maize cake

Sukuma Wiki - Stewed Kale

Irio - mashed potatoes with peas and corn

Pilau - a meat or chicken rice pilaf

kachumbari - kenyan salad of onions, tomatoes, lime & chillies

On the same note, is it possible to buy fresh Kale in Switzerland?

Hope some one can help me. I feel the greatest way to be comforted away from home is through food, home food.

Thanks

Yes. Go to any Portuguese grocery store or market stand. They will have fresh kale.

Thanks miniMia.

I love Kale ... absolutely fantastic!

Eaten with with Ugali, which is almost the same as firm polenta without cheese and butter, it is the Kenyan staple food.

Perhaps there is a market out there for a Kenyan restaurant .....

I'm sure there would be a market!

Shows the foreign population stats as of the last quarter, though not specifically for Kenya.
