We have a baby girl and my wife lost her job. She's looking for a new one but we don't have Kita at the moment. The little one was never in Kita so she never had a place. If we don't have a Kita, my wife is not entitled to RAV money. We also don't know how many days peer week she'll work. It's up to her new employer. How do you solve this? We can't pay 100% for Kita and have my wife at home.
It's a very tough dilemma. But you can only get RAV money if you are able to take up work at very short notice. Very difficult when you don't have friends or family that can sign the papers for you, saying they are available on stand by at any time.
The RAV form "Certificate of childcare (proof of care)" needs to be completed and signed by a person or representative of an institution that s/he will care for the child in the event that the RAV job-seeker finds a job. The RAV-registered job-seeker should then be eligible for unemployment compensation, assuming other requirements are also met:
It can also be signed by an individual who agrees to take that responsibility and step in if required (it is a big ask though, as the person who signs has to be ready and willing to take over at very short notice and can't backtrack).
