We are on the market for kitchen appliances; we'll need a new stove, oven, quooker, microwave, diswasher, fridge, freezer and more.. Aside from using nettoshop.ch for the price comparisons, would anyone have any tips where I could look as well?
Does it makes sense to look abroad for these items? We're keeping to the EU standard (60cm) and using a local woodworker for the kitchen cabinets, so everything can be custom fitted if required.
Since we are also re-building our bathroom, I will gladly hear any tips for this space as well.
Any feedback is well appreciated.
Toppreise.ch to figure out where you can get the item cheapest from Swiss outlets / e-commerce websites.
Amazon.de to figure whether you can get the item cheaper abroad.
You can use topten.ch to compare how much energy the appliances are using.
I don’t know how big are your projects, but when we were doing our renovations we used the site below. It’s a very decent platform in which you explain what you want done and suppliers in your area contact you with their proposals. It worked quite well for us. My advice is, follow the advice of a professional
In our case, the company we hired ended up designing, buying and doing all the work and some of the stuff they bought from Germany, charging us only an additional transportation fee.

Thank you for your suggestion. We have an architect who manages the whole project, since it is at the scale of building a new living space, within the old exterior walls of an old house (if that makes any sense).
It's really the kitchen appliances only.
Any website in Germany or France to recommend?
At the risk of sparking debate, I'd personally never buy the v-zug range again.
Nice looking kit, and for the price tag it's arguably "high end" in spec BUT we've had repeated issues with all of our v-zug appliances (dishwasher, wall ovens, induction hob, washing machine). Aside from appliance unreliability (I've met the repair chap many times now), we've had consistent problems with the LED (?) display panels failing.
Even today one of our remaining v-zug wall ovens has bits missing from the display - we can only just make out 100 or 200 (degrees) and then have to count the number of button clicks up or down to get to any other temperature we want! We've only kept it because 1. the oven works much better after several repairs and 2. it has the best rotisserie function I've ever used!
Could be an isolated experience, we went with V-Zug for induction hob & steam oven primarily because the inlaws had decades of success with their V-Zug appliances. We're nearly a decade in and all of our appliances work impeccably
You might want to consider buying European standard width appliances rather than the narrower Swiss standard.
Isn’t that exactly what they said in their OP? They’re getting European standard size.
We went to their showroom in Düsseldorf to look at their range in person and get advice on what works together. They were very good. Unfortunately when we went to place the order half of the items weren’t in stock, so we ended up splitting the order with Megabad.com prices were cheaper for about half of the items, but delivery date was more important, as we had tradesmen booked.
For kitchen appliances we went to the Miele showroom in Spreitenbach. Then used Toppreise.ch with the model numbers to find the best prices. From memory you get get between 50-60% off the retail price.
