I am Denni from Holland, living in Switzerland since almost 4 years.

On 27 March I faced a stroke and as I was at that Area I was brought to the KSA in Aargau.
I was a week in the hospital and my diagnosis are: an aneurysm in the brain and a VSD/PFO, which is an opening between two heart chambers.
Since then I am treated at the KSA. I have to say, the nurses are amazing and super helpfull and the two neurologists I had an appointment with seemed great but I have some general doubts if this is the best hospital for me and if I, if possible could change to for example University Hospital Zürich?
I will explain my concerns/experiences a bit further:
- after my arrival at 27.3.23 a nurse came to me and asked if it was right that I do not want to be reanimated. Somehow this information got to them on the entry form but I never entered that.
- There was planned a echo of the heart at 29.3.23 so I did not after midnight from 28.3.23. However on 29.3.23 they forgot about me which resulted in again not eating after midnight and a unnecessary extra day in the hospital
- One doctor told me they found a aneurysm in my head on the CT scan. A few hours later the chef doctor came and told me on the scan of my head everything looked perfect. He was surprised when I told him I just was told that I have an aneurysm.
- when I mentioned to the doctor some of the complaints I described to you in the last mail, he told me my urine and blood looked good. However Urine sample was not taken. They took it afterwards and all tested values did not show any strange things
- after my release good communication about the aneurysm with neurologist but no communication about the VSD/PFO. Several times reached out from my side and after asking again it became clear to me after weeks they discussed my case at the colloquium but they forgot to inform me about the outcome.
- several contradictories about advices regarding aneurysm/PFO
- 30.5.23 I was asked to be at KSA for the Angiogram. Nothing happened until 14.30. The treatment was a bit harsch and communication/advice afterwards poor.
All of this is not what I expected and I did list a bit trust in KSA that is why I am considering change of hospital.
So my questions is: is this normal, does anyone have same or other experiences with this hospital? Is it possible to change (half-private insured at CSS) and other things you might think can be good for me to know?
