December tomorrow and I’ve still not been Whammed! Listening to podcasts rather than radio and not shopping much probably helped.
Whammed yesterday. Listening to radio while driving, a 30 sec clip.
I think the radio announcer joked about ruining everyone’s evening. Not 100% sure, thick Swiss German, hahaha
I was a Wham! fan in my youth but I hate this track lol. I also hate George Michael’s Careless Whisper.
Back in 2002 I moved back to Scotland from London to look after my dad, my OH remained in London as he had to organise selling the house. After my dad went into care I took a Christmas temp job in Marks and Spencer and they played the same CD all day every day, all the same tunes on a loop. When you’ve heard Slade for about the 50th time in the day you start to think you’re going insane, but the one that really made me want to weep was Chris Rea’s Driving Home For Christmas as I was on my own
