Leaving with B and coming back in the future

Hello friends,

I am thinking on leaving the country as an EU citizen (spain) with B (1 year left).

I quit my job a couple of months ago and I have been working on temporary jobs for the last months while at RAV, I'm tired of working on these type of jobs and I want to go back to my country to study in university and then come back after I am done.

My question is, in the future if I want to come back, can I register at RAV to find a job or do I have to first find a job and then move back to switzerland?

Since I have lived here for a few years with B, will it help me to come back in the future? Or that doesn't matter?

As an EU national I don’t think it matters. Unless they dump the free movement agreement with the EU.

Don’t think you’d be able to register with RAV unless you have some months of unemployment in your home country first. Then you’d be entitled to up to 3 months unemployment here iirc.

The fact that you had a B before means nothing really. You’d be starting afresh.

You are entitled to come for three months to seek new employment and register with the RAV to get assistance in the search, but no cash.
