I’m an Aussie currently visiting Switzerland, and I’m looking for a restaurant in Zug to celebrate my birthday tomorrow. So far, I’ve only tried Restaurant Aklin & the Butcher. Please advise of any delicious dishes to try!
Thanks in advance!

What kind of food do you like/prefer? Also how many people? (Will you need long tables for a group or just 3-6 friends?)
Also take a look to this:

Also be sure to make a reservation
Felsenkeller just up from there is a great wine bar.
The Skybar (or skylounge?) is a cool place for drinks, if a bit snooty.
While not in Zug, the best meal I've had recently was at https://steakhouse-bahnhof.ch/
This is in Metmestetten, about a 15 minute drive. Massive grill with a few types of meat and a handful of sides to choose from. But done so well!
Bacco in Arth looks abandoned from the outside but great Italian cooking in a simple environment. In summer great as it's right on the late
Thanks! Already read those, very old posts. Though I suppose it doesn't change much around here.
Awesome! I'll go try them all~ Thank you very much <3
Edit : I see it now, Looking For restaurant. I R a bit slow tonight.
Blasenbergstrasse 15, Zug 6300, Schweiz

Hardly....
Aklin
Waldhaus
Zum Kaiser Franz im Rössl
Rathauskeller Bistro
Hafenrestaurant
Colonia Italiana Zug
Restaurant Schiff
To name just a few.....
I go more for the healthy and elegant food, like the Ecco in Zurich... but everybodies taste is so individual...
Have you actually been to these restaurants and eaten in them ?
