I wanted to withdraw my CHF pillar 3 which was 25K CHF - I asked them to send it to transferwise but they have rejected the payment on the grounds that the funds sent to my CHF account have to be from an account held in my name
Does anyone know how to send CHF francs to wise from an account that is not in your name? Or does it need to be converted first by my pension provider using the FX fees that they insist before I can access it??
Quite disspointing as in 18 months will receive my pillar 2 pension which is 250K CHF and I would like to control when and with what fees it is converted to sterling
Can't you simply first transfer it to a regular CHF bank account and then transfer it from there to Wise?
Or is the issue that you no longer have a CHF bank account at all? If you're no longer a customer at a Swiss bank, a CHF account at a foreign bank might be an option, if the pillar 2/3a providers are happy with an international CHF transfer.
