I went to Lidl few months ago, I asked for form refund but I did not go to the border to ask the stamp and I came back to Swiss. I am still in time to ask for one?
Hi to all. I would like to have some info regarding to tax refund from Lidl Germany. What are the steps?
You must get the stamp when you leave the EU customs union with the goods. Getting a stamp now would be tax fraud.
PS: People have been caught.
PPS: The name of the country is Switzerland, not Swiss.
Too late. You need in principle show German customs what you have bought. Not that they always ask for it.
Go to Lidl, buy things, get an Ausfuhrbescheinigung, make sure the amount is over EUR 50, get it stamped by Swiss customs. Return to Lidl, get your VAT back.
PS: not Swiss.... Switzerland
Thanks especially for the name of the country
Fixed. The Swiss do not care much if you have the goods with you for which you pay VAT.
