I'm glad he can go skiing if he has set his heart on it. Hope he has a good helmet and takes care of himself.
I bet you'll be glad when the whole thing is behind you though.
Fingers still crossed.
Excellent news - where is the ski trip?
Keep us informed when the time comes - all fingers crossed.
Honestly, I only know when it is, but not sure yet where - I think Wallis, though. It's a trip organized by his school and I trust them.
It sounds like all will be well for you and your son, I'm so glad.
I hope he enjoys his skiing holiday, as Longbyt says with a good helmet.
Your son will love the time off school and all the fuss and pampering he gets! I hope it is all soon over and you can get back to a normal worry-free life. Keep us up to date with his progress.
I was thinking of you both yesterday, good news about the skiing.... good to see your son has his priorities sorted!
Fingers crossed that the rest of it goes well.
A
So tomorrow is the big day, my boy is having his operation, so wish us luck and hopefully this will be it!
All fingers crossed. Do tell us how it goes - all the very best
(How did the ski trip go btw)?
He enjoyed that a great deal especially since it will have been the only skiing for him this season.
Thanks for the good wishes!
Plenty of time in the season still. Maybe a great way to cheer him up when all this is over- even if just for the day- a well deserved treat for being brave.
Sending luck and love, I hope all goes well.
So I have a huge weight taken off my chest. Everything went well and he is in very good spirits. The care at the clinic is absolutely fabulous, everybody is so nice and I feel he is in good hands. They didn't even shave a lot of his hair off, just a tiny bit.
He was very brave, and maybe you are right, Odile, when everything is healed maybe he could go skiing for a day or two. Thanks to everybody for their wishes, you guys are great and really supportive. I love you ! *swept away with emotions*
Delighted to hear this. (Longbyt does little dance over the keyboard). Take care. Funny how one can care so much about people one doesn't know.
Fabulous news and thank you so much for taking the time to tell us.
Brilliant.
Would like to 'thank' MacGregor's Daughter several times (but obviously can't) about her good news. Hope all continues to be well. Hugs to the little man for being brave; and hugsto his mum for being even more so....
That is fantastic news! I am so so glad all went well, really happy for you!! Big hugs. x
That's great news. Glad it all went well.
Great news!
Emmm can the cats uncross their paws now?
Great news, Hope you all get to Ski again this season.
I am so glad that everything went well. It must be a great relief for you! It is also a very good sign that you feel he is in good hands at the clinic - that makes things just a little bit easier.
About the hair: isn't a little bit shaved in at the moment?
I hope the recovery goes quickly and smoothly.
I'm so surprised how fast he is recovering. Last night we played Monopoly and he made us all go bankrupt and won He can even go back to school tomorrow and I bet his head bandage will make him the center of attention and admiration, especially with the girls
