My partner lives and works in EU.
If we want to marry (but keep living apart) what will be for me the tax impact?

I actually wonder the same but haven't got time to research it yet. Similar situation. Married, one of us plans to move to another country for a job, i.e. one person will be a resident and the other will not.
For me at least in Zurich (I work here B permit, wife lives and works in UK and I commute back and forth under the UK 90 allowed days a year for non-dom) they apply the 'married and wife working' withholding tax allowance to my salary which means you pay slightly less tax than a single person would since they still realise your wife is working and paying tax 'somewhere' - they don't stipulate that they have to be working in Switzerland for this to count at least here (other cantons may vary).
I also get the paid yearly difference beween the UK child benefit (roughly £145 a month) and Swiss child benefit (400 chf a month) paid out for my two kids even though they live in the U.K. and they also take that into consideration as well with my Swiss witholding tax rate. I have to do a yearly claim for that through my employer and provide a letter from UK benefits agency confirming what we were paid out in UK and they then deduct that from the Swiss totals and pay the difference one month in my salary (which is taxed).
From my experience with canton Schwyz, before my wife joined me in CH, she was in Ireland and the tax officer siad that my center of life is not in Switerland, so I was taxed as 'cross border commuter' (if I recall correctly).
