Living in Birmensdorf

Hello everyone, i hope you can help

i have notice that there are a number of posts about living in Birmensdorf, but they are quite old.

Hubby is changing his job thus we need to change the area we live in now.

After some research it seems that Birmensdorf is the best option.

I am a stay home mom of a 2y old girl and a 9m old boy.

Is there a good community spirit? Are there kids activities "waldgruppe, dance classes or gymnastic for the kids.... ?"

Are there any activities or groups i can be part of?

A friend of mine "swiss" she says that locals are friendly there and do not have a problem with expats. True?

How are you? My name is Karina and I've been in birmensdorf for 4months with my partner. What nacionality are you? I'm Brazilian/British, I don't have kids but it would be nice to meet someone else...

Personally I think its too far from Zürich. Rural=boring. Not good for kids when they get older.And the locals are friendly -as long as you are not a refugee.
