Can anyone here tell me a bit about Wohlen? Is it a nice town to live in?

Do you mean Wohlen AG or Wohlen BE?
I've heard several stories that people mistaken Muri AG for Muri BE, Bremgarten AG for Bremgarten BE
As for Wohlen AG, i find that it is actually a nice town with high percentage of foreigners , so its quite vibrant i think. The S26 Bahn stops here, and it also served by BDWM which runs from Wohlen to Dietikon ZH via Bremgarten AG. So, transportation should not be an issue. There are some small and big shops in Wohlen, like Coop Bau+Hobby, digitec.ch Shop+Warehouse, Coop, Migros MM, Fust, Lidl, Aldi, OVS (used to be Charles Vögele), Mobile Zone.. just to name a few. There are also several banks and telecom shops. Oh, it also has Migros Klubschule...
