Local Facebook groups in German

Hi,

I tried so many keywords but the results are all English speaking/expat groups.

Could you please recommend me local (Zurich preferably) groups where people speak (hopefully high) German?

If it helps, my interests are; animals, dogs, cooking, baby care, mothers, gardening, vegetarians, vegans, or anything else you know which has LOTS of members.

Try meetups, maybe you'll get somehow connected once you meet some people.

I can't go anywhere. Stuck at home with a high need baby.

Thanks I requested to join but they ask if I am German. So let's see.

I gave up with Facebook. I think it also doesn't allow to check on people which groups they are member of.

Meetups are on certain times that I can't attend or not of interest.

It is unbelievable how difficult to find a way to integrate into community, learn some language. I even applied to voluntary positions and didn't get answer.

Well, to integrate you will have to meet with people. Search for Kleinkindgruppe, Spielgruppe and things like that.

There must be something that has your interest??

You're doing it wrong. I follow my interests, join all sorts of events, barbecue, beach valley, wine tasting, hiking... and there's plenty of occasions to speak various languages. I meet locals and expats. English is a common ground these days. When an event is announced in English it's because it's accessible for a wide audience.
