Location for Birthday party

hello

for end of july i am looking for a nice spot around the lake zurich (ideally, but any other location fitting requirements below welcome) to have a small surprise birthday party. i know of a place that my office once rented in Herrliberg, but i have to live there/gemeinde if i want it. so the house should be in the kanton of zurich, should hold up to 20-30 peeps, have bbq facilities (possibility of selfcatering in general), small terrasse and a room to sit inside in case its bad weather. and it should be possible to be ther 6pm - 2 am. therell be not much party noise/music, but the usual having-a-fag-outside-chatter that causes herr stirnimann to make the police have a look n sheiss.. i have googled sone but the treasures are always hidden somewhere, so....maybe one has an idea?

thx very much in advance

Seeking wedding reception venue for May, Zurich

already been on this page, cheers!

If you live in Zurich Wollishofen you can try your luck with this venue:

If there is more than one person interested a little lottery will be held.

Try to search on this page:

Overpriced Kaufleuten Launge by a disco club next door used to be my usual choice

On a serious note though, something like this might be worth to consider: Conference venue for rent! No BBQ facilities and terrace though but perfectly suited for bad weather. If you interested pls send me PM so that I can arrange it.

New Theater, beautiful party rooms w/ bare stone, outside also available. I haven't been yet, but a few friends have recommended it...

Villa Sunneschy near Männedorf is a good place with a large terrace and big lawn down to the lake. Recommended.

Ooh! They have a ü30 party every so often That'll suit you...

called them yesterday, office hours only fri n sat. will try again.

no selfcatering, costs for staff etc: no, but thx. and for your insider party tips too! :-)

kino is too expensive. the clubhouse on werdinsel charges 600chf, which is my max budget for that. but thx too.

i found that and tried it out yesterday. interface is a bit of a pain, but i found a very cool option in there that i pre-booked. only con: no lake or river attached location. mhmpf.

thx for the feedback.

What about a booze cruze, on the lake itself. Must be a Boat around the lake ,

a boat that holds space for 20 peeps

Good luck!

You can possibly take over the Bier Factory for the right price. It's in Rapperswil and you might be able to bring a grill. There's no patio but space for 20-30 is doable.

Wollishofen, at the camping site right aside from Restaurant Fischers Fritz and Wakeboard Academy is a stretch with self-catering BBQ facility and beautiful view on the lake. (Opposite the main street is a public parking).

A seemingly nice looking facility too: http://www.hgv-horgen.ch/seeguetli.html

You could consider Türlersee otherwise (Amt Knonau) Wild camping isn't allowed there, but some of the farmers in the surroundings may be willing to let you have a removable party-tent on their grounds.

Maybe the TCS camping site direct on Greifen See? They usually have lots of barbecue facilities,

but you have to be quiet from 12 noon to 14:00 and probably after 10 pm as well.

All your guests could bring a tent, that would solve the drink / drive problem!

Def worth checking out the party haus in Kapnach ....it perfectly fits your spec...no idea re: price though......

I have been to two partys held at farmhouses. One near Bern-Belp airport and one next to the river at Solothurn. The farmer's wife supplies drinks, bread and cakes, and / or you can bring the rest, it's negotiable.
