Has Dominic reached the weight requirement for the seat yet? I am sure it would make things a whole lot easier. I never used a pram with Ian. I had a car seat that hooked to my stroller so he was always sort of upright.
Does Samuel usualy cry a lot on trains? I feel bad when I see mothers try to calm their child down and people just giving them mean looks.
I prefer to do a restaurant. I am doing Weight Watchers so McDs burgers aren't the best choice for me..it takes up all my points for the day..ahh! Meeting at the Mainstation would work great for me How about Weds next week?
I know I didn't make it last week, both myself and bubs had virus (now left with no voice and barking cough - lovely). I would really like to meet up with you guys next week for late lunch you're talking about. Any day is good for me and can meet up at Zurich HB beforehand no probs.....
Lisa - You dont need to be doing WeightWatches at all!!! But restaurant is good because MacD is not really my taste (although I know they have changed).
Theresa - hope you and bubs recover very quickly. Its miserable having to look after a baby when sick. That is when you really wish there was family nearby!
Madeline - it happened to us once and it was the longest 35min of our life! Strange thing was that he would cry everytime the train stopped but was happy once we were moving!
Wednesday next week is good for me. Maybe meet around 1pm or even 1.30pm? At least the work-lunch-rush should be over by the time we get to the restaurant.
Shin- I am trying to eat healthier..I have been eating anything and everything whenever I wanted before. I have been trying to lose the last 10 pregnancy pounds..and so far its working!
Theresa- Is everyone feeling better now?
abeergamalomar-Sorry I forgot your name (I am horrible with remembering names) I can for sure do 1:30. I have to see your cutie
1:30 Weds at the Mainstation is good Everyone have a good week? Tomorrow we have about 15 groups coming to look at our apartment..no fun!
I know I have already asked this question before elsewhere on this forum but stil not any the wiser. Would any of you ladies know where in Zurich I can get a christening outfit for my little boy? Been to Manor etc in town but no such luc. Is there a baby shop in Deitlikon? Help!
Lisa, Theresa, Abeer -seems like you guys had a good time last week - I am going to gatecrash this time ) Hope lonely Indian Moms with cheerful (oh well!) 6 month olds are allowed?
Sorry, I have already made arrangement on Wed afternoon. So if it will work out for all of you, I wouldn't want you to reschedule. So Samuel and I will try to make it next time!
Hi I'd love to meet other mums in the Meilen area, I have two boys aged 4 and 8, we moved to Switzerland from Cheshire UK about 3 months ago and we've lived in this area for about 2 months. It would be great to find friends for my two boys to go the park with and find someone who I can talk to aswell. Please PM me, I'd look forward to hearing from you.
If you meet up one morning, I would love to join you - got a bump and an older one at school, but anxious to get to know people with babies before the big day - I'm really worried that I've forgotten what to do!!
Lisa, Theresa and Abeer - I am not sure if I can make it tomorrow. I have a work deadline to meet by lunctime tomorrow. If I get my work done I will come down. But if not...:-(
If I can make it I will be there on time at 1.30pm. Please do not wait for me...if I am not there by 1.30pm it means I can not make it.
Fingers crossed I will see you all tomorrow at the upstairs meeting point.
arundihi - I know there is a weight watches office in zurich but not sure if they do meetings in english.
Again I'm going to have to give today a miss, bogged down with sickness again. I will meet you eventually hopefully. Can you please let me know if you will all be meeting up again next week, where and when.
Lisa - I think you were meaning to speak to someone else about some eating plan or something??
