Does anyone know of any boutiques or shops in Zurich where I could buy a long dress for a wedding . My brother is getting married in July and I need to start looking!

Hello ladies on EF!
Believe it or not, out of sheer despair, I've e-bayed my dress (civil wedding). They ship, and there are lots of nice things - I looked for Monsoon, loads of pretty stuff . Problems are the shoes!!! those, I want to try before I buy.
My far better half was looking for a dress for a wedding this time last year, and after lookoing all over the place she finally found stuff at two stores in Sihlcity, one called Anouk, and the other called Zero.
It depends a lot on the dress that you're looking for and the available budget. I bought all my dresses for weddings or graduations at C&A. They have a good choice and prices are nice. If you would like to spend more money check out Jelmoli and Modissa (both on Bahnhofstrasse). Furthermore there is one shop that has rather "frill" dresses at Badenerstrasse (close to Kalkbreite shop). There are many small boutiques in that area that sell dresses. So it depends a lot on the style of the dress. What exactly are you looking for? More information might be useful.
someone was just telling me about the absolute mecca of bridal gowns in switzerland, a massive store in bubikon -- i wonder if they also sell other long dresses to wear to weddings, if you're not the bride.

I found one at Zero in Sihlcity and if I were you, Iād have a look at Peek & Cloppenburg, too. They have lots of short and long dresses and the prices are nice, too.

Don't worry.I can help you,i suggest you a wedding boutique.My friend will getting marry in this month.We both were went to shop to buy a wedding dress and accessories for wedding.We purchased two wedding dress and accessories.They have huge collection of unique dresses and stylish with reasonable cost.We fully satisfied with that shop.she got her dream wedding dress with affordable cost. I hope you also like that shop.
There is a small but beautiful shop in Zug called "Sara Schlumpf". I think she is a designer making tailor made dresses although there seem to be some ready-made dresses inside (never went inside the shop). I always stop to watch the dresses in the window and they are really very very nice. There is no price displayed though, so I have no clue what price range we are talking (reason why I probably never went in).
Price range? Season? New or second hand? Where are you based in Switzerland?
A bit more detail might encourage some good suggestions.
