Since many of you are intrepid travelers, I’m hoping that someone here might know Atlanta…
What is the best (safest, most reliable, easiest) way to get around downtown Atlanta these days? I hate using Uber, so would prefer to avoid it if possible.
Also, can you recommend a limo/car service for airport pick-ups?

Rent a car to avoid being vulnerable in public transportation or waiting for taxi or Uber. Downtown you would need to be careful at night.

Maybe I have ‘downtown’ wrong. I’m going to the Inman Park area. I was told it’s a safe walkable neighborhood.
I don’t know Atlanta at all - am I wrong?

Ah. Inman park is not that bad but stay away from the murder Kroger area. Atlanta downtown is a different matter. Atlanta is not really a walking or public transportation friendly place.
