Looking for cool people to hang out with

Hey, I am living in Zurich. Slackline, hiking, pubs and concerts - YES PLEASE!

Usually i am going for a walk to city by myself, as i (hate staying at home) love fresh air. Thursday is perfect for pubs, Wednesday and Tuesday is also good

Anyone interested to meet over a beer? my bucket list has one new item: try each of the beer listed here: http://beertone.me/swiss-edition/

For those interesting, tonight for a few beers at Mousetrap in Viadukt is always a interesting fun time.

I'll be heading over around 18:30, but many are there earlier to enjoy some fine beers, cheeses and good times.

What about people who are lost and lonely . . . but are not cool ?

I'm also 32 and new to Zurich. Let me know if you want to meet up some time!

Im the coolest person in Zug- really!!

ok whos up for a game of scrabble or monopoly in zurich?

Sorry, I'm not cool, would have loved to have helped out otherwise.

I like meeting new people to hang out with.

So, if so many people are keen, shall we all meet up then?

Hey dude,

I don't live in Zurich but do pass the Zurich train station on my way to work, so I can hook up with you at the station and drinks are on me, but it has to be non-alcoholic I'm afraid. PM me if you're interested.

I don't Ski (not middle class :-)) or hike, but would like to loose some weight. However, I'm above average in Pool and Badminton.

I'm also in the same profession as you are, so at least we can network professionally if not socially.

I am this way too ! And I could tell that you were by that picture of yourself you posted some days ago. You have that certain smile..

Hi! I would also like to meet up with you (and others) some time! Moved to Zurich last year but up until now I kind of had the same 'making friends' experience as you.

I do have a small group of friends here, but I would like to meet a lot more fun and interesting people

Good afternoon!

Just saw your post. Not long ago I posted something here complaining about how hard it is to make friends around here....anyway out of all the people who replied, only ONE sweet woman came forward and so nicely offered me her friendship. I still have to get back to her and make time to go out, I found that to be very kind on her part and I feel truly appreciative.

I live in Zurich, not far from the lake. I do not have lots of free time but it will get better soon. Weekends and Fridays or Saturdays nights are also good most of the times. I offer you my friendship if interested, we can hang out, share some laughter, talk about a recent book we've read, have a couple of beers or a great glass of wine and even dinner!

We can also improvise a BBQ down the lake now that the nice weather is here, go hiking etc. I have a small dog that I often walk with down the lake, so hopefully you have no issues with that.

I am a people person, a friendly gal and since I moved here it has been extremely hard to socialize. Since I smile a lot and say hello, people think I am crazy but honestly I do not care.

I have friends from all walks of live, younger and older than me, also from various social status and education, good friends I miss and cherish, great honest sincere people and I am positive that I will find the same type of people here just that it will take a little longer.

I am straightforward and direct, but non judgmental, I respect to be respected and I tend to accept people just the way they are.

So PM if interested and we can find a time to go out and have a good one!

Take care,

C.

I`m cool, but have kids yor age.

Tom

I do not chose friends base on age, race, color, social status, sexual preference, ethnicity, what kind of car they drive or the house they live in but base on their personality, their honesty and sincerity and many other things not really visible to the naked eye.

As I said, I have friends that are much younger than me, actually the majority of my friends are younger, they love hanging out with me for some reason , good part of my friends are my age or close to it and a few are older. They are all different and I love each one of them deeply. Unfortunately they are not here!

So please do not worry. If you are nice than we can try becoming friends. It is a process to get to know someone and only time can tell but there has to be a starting point.

:-)

Go get what's yours Tom

I am in

I will be in soon... (if i get the job this week... )

I live in Zurich and I'm always up for meeting new people

I'm cool. I know this from the reception I get in the Migros restaurant on those afternoons when I go for coffee and a piece of carrot cake. The ladies there, most of them now widows and so freed of the shackles of marriage tend to appreciate male coolness in the highly developed form practised by me after years of studying the works of Jean-Paul Sartre. This utter coolness, a form of Zen really, takes a long time to perfect. Add white hair, (a lock hanging cheekily over one eye), wrinkles, a slow sort of High Noon walk, perfected in the mirror at home, and with my Migros Budget mobile phone clutched in a sinewy hand plus blue jeans turned up to show no socks in my Timberlands - and the required degree of absolute coolness is guaranteed. Should the weather improve in the next few days I'll be going down in my vest again with my feet splayed (and displayed) in sandals. Warm weather adds a tremendous boost to my image. And, let's admit it, bare feet are/is the true sign of intense, worthwhile coolness. Now that I'm part of the Migros-Restaurant picture, I often don't have to pay for a second coffee and accept that this sign of appreciation by the not-so-with-it crowd tends to underline the efforts one has to make to make one's mark in the world.

What I'd reeeaaaallllly like is one of those trike motorbike things that I sometimes see on the roads, I know this involves getting tattooed, wearing a blue vest and growing a moustache but it would free me of the walk down to the Migros which is sometimes difficult for me at my age without my walking stick. But one can't have everything and turning up for coffee and carrot cake in leather trousers could ruin my chances of retaining my lifestyle.
