Looking for doctor who might prescribe adderall

I am just finding this thread...

I have just been diagnosed with ADHD (despite being in therapy all my life...) and so far meds suck big time.

I know it is different for everyone, but did you maybe find something that worked for you?

ADHD is a gift, enhance it. They tried to give me meds, blood pressure went through the roof, end of that.

I've read before that magnesium can help. My sister has ADHD and her symptoms really improved once she started taking magnesium. I guess it further improved once she stopped using social media, which was impairing her ability to focus due to 'information overload' basically and the way those sites train your brain to be constantly distracted via notifications, etc.

I've also read that phosphate (usually sausages are the source) is also bad.

I would think about a full, medically supervised "detox".

Do you have a suggestion or recommendation of a doctor, for doing that, please?

What exactly is that? If a person has functioning kidneys then the body does its own detox. Or do you mean trying to eliminate things one at a time as possible causes? Or eliminating a bunch of things at once and then adding in gradually?

If I had to do that, I'd try Buchinger Klinik.

Or a Mayr Kur.

Probably will have to do it at some point.
