Looking for english 'FNAC' kinda place

Hi everyone,

I discovered here today, nice place you got here for English speakers Anyway here's the thing:

I wanted to buy couple of PC games, however i'm looking for English ones. The ones i found via internet or local places (M Electronics, Manor, etc.) they sell only French or Multi 3 (FR, GER, IT)

Specifically i'm thinking to order 'Mass Effect 3: Collector's Edition' with english language, can you recommend me any place to make this purchase ?

(Paypal via net or a local shop, in Lausanne)

I order all my games from amazon.co.uk

Way cheaper than buying here. Shipping costs are minimal and delivery times are short.

I try to buy from Digitec.ch if available in english.

Else at PLAY.COM , delivery is free for both

Alcom.ch gets a lot of UK games, not too expensive and free shipping inside Switzerland. The website is only in german though.

There is much info on this website about using Amazon and things like that, they do charge you to bring in.

One thing I used to do was to take a cheap plane to UK for a day and buy everything there and come back! The savings were huge!

In effect you do need to check import rules and regs. I looked this up again a couple of weeks ago - take a look at this thread:

Carry through duty free vs postal allowances...

You can legally be sent books up to a value of 200 CHF, and I know a friend who regularly recieves stuff from Aamzon. An alternative is to use one of the holding addresse on the FR or DE border (such as Konstanz), and then walk it over the border...

For books, also check out The Book Depository - they are often cheaper than Amazon as they don't charge postage.
