Looking for martial arts club in zurich

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a decent martial arts club in the Zurich area. I have trained with the Bujinkan in Taijitsu, but am also interested in Systema or Krav Maga. I would be interested in similar groups who do a mix of un-armed and armed training. My German is ok but I still struggle a bit so am looking for groups where German/English (Germ-lish) won't be a problem!

Cheers

There are quite a few threads on this topic; have a quick look through the search function (tip: go advanced) and you'll find what you're looking for

Krav Maga: http://www.asiasportcenter.ch/kravmaga.htm

I find that the best combination is Ving Tsun for upper body, Tae Kwon Do lower body, juijitsu for grappling, Krav Maga fro self defense. I also do boxing, the only thing that annoys me about boxing is that you train with a preferred hand. If I was to choose any above all it would be Ving Tsun.

Switzerland is one of the most peaceful countries on earth.why do you need martial arts club here? There are alot of fight clubs in Afghanistan.you can google that.

I was going to groan at that but *i think* youre being sarcastic.

Bottom line is, there are plenty of non violent benefits to martial arts training and one of them is discipline which is highly desired apparently in this country

It feels nice, it helps proprioception and kinesthesia. It's fun, it teaches you a lot about yourself, your behaviour, in a very short space of time. It provides a full body workout. A thug mentality doesn't fit.

Here's what I mean !

hehe made me laugh lots!

Thanks to everyone for suggestions (and witty replies lol) I am gonna try out asia sports centre at some point, been super busy, had a look and it looks good, thanks chris .

Does anyone who posted go there?

Cheers
