However he then worked in Germany for some years and now here in CH.
So the poor chap has probably been corrupted from his mysteriously super Spanish / South American ways.
In the UK they guess.. one thing I miss about CH when back in the UK with the kids.
the OP has left an open goal. Pile in folks!
See local.ch for "Kinderarzt" and then go by name. But be aware that those people may have been born and trained in Switzerland.
Like Mrs. Flavia Ada D'Abbraccio Philippen for the Chinderdoktor Wipkingen http://www.chinderdokter.ch/team.html
Also it will get hard to get an appointment over Easter. If it is a real emergency and you can not find a Pediatrician please see the pediatric hospitals in Lucerne, https://www.kinderspital-luzern.ch/de/
or Zurich, Steinwiesstrasse 75 https://www.kispi.uzh.ch/de/kontakt/Seiten/default.aspx
I’m afraid I can’t give you a recommendation, but this is another tool that could perhaps help narrow your search:
https://www.doctorfmh.ch/index.cfm?e...g&locale=en_US
This is a list of FMH doctors in Switzerland, of which pediatrics is a subset. I’m linking this search tool because it is searchable by language spoken as well as area. You will need to weed out those who are not pediatricians, though.
Of course searching by Spanish speaking will also get you doctors trained in any country who just happen to speak Spanish, but at least that’s a start.
Another possibility is to contact your embassy; some keep lists of doctors here recommended by their nationals.

I certainly understand the desire to find a doctor whose background might give a better understanding of the patient and patient expectations. After all, ability to understand one another includes a cultural component, and can help to build a more successful doctor-patient relationship.
(How many threads are asking for an English speaking doctor, or recommending a popular British GP? Those threads spring from the same need to be better understood, and not just in terms of language, as the OP has. )
Before piling on, can we just try putting ourselves in the OPs shoes for a moment? New to the country, new to parenthood, a bad experience with a doctor here... would you, too, not want to find someone who better understands where you are coming from? There are doctors from all over the world practicing in Switzerland, hopefully the OP can find one who suits his needs.
I am sorry you have run into the dark side of this forum, Steve.
Can anyone recommend a homeopathic vet? I'm trying to crate-train my dog and think he needs something for the stress. I'm not interested in a conventional vet, thanks.
EDIT: oops, just realised that meloncollie already posted this, earlier.
The OP seems to have mastered the art of sweeping generalisations.
Even if you find someone from that part of the world, they still have to practice in accordance with Swiss norms, i.e. the doctor will have had to had their qualifications recognised and done whatever training needed to match Swiss standards.
Could it just be that you've not yet found a paediatrician you are comfortable with? Shouldn't necessarily exclude all Swiss (or "western" ) doctors.
Millions of Swiss kids seem to have done all right with a Swiss doc looking after them.
