Looking to buy a british blue cat

Does anyone know any breeders in Switzerland or nearby?

Thanks

Excellent choice, they are the most beautiful, well behaviored and warm cats on earth

- Yup, I know, every single cat onwer thinks the same of its own cat, but I am just in love with my Lilac British shorthair (even though she's French ).

Try Gratis-inserate.ch - they have many, many breeds of cat for sale - mostly very expensive though!

I second this. We've had five British shorthairs in our time. The oldest died a couple of years ago, aged 19!!! The Blues are particularly beautiful.

I don't. The cats that own me are the epitomy of evil. We love 'em all the same (because they make us when they talk to us with their minds ).

Hi Thanks for the links guys.

I have noticed a big price difference between Switzerland and Germany. Maybe we should go to Germany?

They are so beautiful, does anyone know about the temperament? Also how they are for allergies?

They are supposed to have a charming temperament. This cattery near Bern seems to have kittens: http://www.zarville.ch/4519.html

Also spotted this sweetheart on Ricardo (a Russian blue female for sale):

The Chartreux breed is also an option.

How about a white cat and a spray can of paint ?

Good choice.I have a british blue cat that i brought with me.

People think he is an expensive designer cat, but he was found in a skip and I got him from a rescue centre

They are beautiful cats. I love the orange eyes. Very friendly cats. Here is my British Blue I got when I lived in Australia and is now with me.

This is Dumpling, also known as Fatcat, British short hair cream, had to leave him behind

Try the Tierwelt paper,

http://www.tierwelt.ch/

they have all sorts of animals, pets and livestock on offer.

Otherwise the white cat and a spray can seems a good idea

Just had a shuftie, here is a blue British moggy.

Whaddya know they really exist, did not know that

I have a friend who breeds them here and sells them for CHF1,500. Apparently you can get them for about CHF600 in Germany.

They are very loving and easy going cats.

As far as I know they shed normally and allergy sufferers will have a reaction to them.

If still looking, try www.mcbcats.com - they work normally in France and Netherlands. They fly their cats (after 3 months old) between those countries, so Switzerland may work.

In respect to the behavior, they are really warm and lovely. Usually not a cat lap as they have a thick fur. They are independent and playful. Also robust and normally very healthy type of cats.

If you have someone in england you could do what i did, get ur cat there and get their passport done and bring them over on the plane, im sure it would be a hell of a lot cheaper than buying one from here.

....The best way to get a cat. All my cats have been rescue cats and it kind of upsets me people still want to pay breeders whilst some wonderful animals will be destroyed because they are not the appropriate colour or breed.
