Anyone heard of Lucerne International School? Is it a virtual school or a physical school? Thanks

My son attends ISZL - International School of Zug and Luzern - great school and I think that is what you may be looking for?

Welcome aboard Bambarra and Kim! Nice to have you on EF.

They seem to be an on-line school. They use on-line tutoring services from the UK and possibly other countries with a little bit of in person teaching. I would say stick with ISZL and if you want on line learning check out the reputable providers in the UK of which there are many (with much lower costs)

The School is a blended learning school, so normal classes are held with teachers but with the integration of the online courses supported by expert online teachers. The online courses are provided by the National Extention College based in the UK (established by the same person responsible for the Open University). Students are on individualised programmes, so they can complete iGCSEs and A-levels at their own pace from 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, or the usual 2 years. Studies have shown that blended learning programmes typically result in twice as much progress in the same time as traditional schools. The tuition starts at 18,000 CHF as well.
