A job offer in Liechtenstein looks tempting, and I can live with commute. The only question I have is what happens to my Swiss B permit when it's time to renew (Slovak but got in before the restrictions came in)?
Cheers,

Cheers,
You might have a problem with that. As a EU-Member, your permit B is given to you based on a job in Switzerland. Residing in Switzerland does not qualify for that. If the migration figures out, that you do not work in Switzerland anymore, your permit will not be renewed.
Depending on what type of B permit you have, you might have to change the permit you have for s cross border commuters (you live in CH, but work in FL). This is what happens to most of the foreigner who work in FL, as it is almost impossible to get a visa to live there. I know the rules might have changed ever since I went through this, but the commuter visa won't count towards your C permit and should you lose your job in FL, you might have problems to collect benefits, you will have to do a special provision for pensions. Basically, you will became a special foreign within the foreigners... I would strongly recommend you to consult a lawyer, as this is not as straightforward as it may look. Also, if you live outside the bordering cantons (SG, Graubunden), you might also have trouble to make this change.
Finally, the commute is brutal, specially in Winter.
I'm wondering what is the best way to figure out the facts about this particular case, primarily worried about the future C permit status, if I'm a resident of the SG and working in FL?
Does anyone has an update on this issue?
I have the similar question, I am a non EU, holding C Permit (married to a Swiss) and living close to Liechtenstein border. I have seen some job recruitments and tempting to apply but I am not sure if my C permit is allowed to work in Liechtenstein. So before I head to Gemeinde I would like to post my question here and hoping for some guidelines.
Thank you for all your feedbacks.
Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday
Therefore, you can work in Lichtenstein and your Swiss canton will gladly collect your taxes.
