Does anyone know who I go to in order to make a complaint against a real estate agent? I live in Lausanne so I'm not sure if there is an official Real Estate Institute. Can anyone offer advice?

I am not quite sure, but I would try the following:
If you are renting, then contact the "Mieterschutzverand"/"Assocation Suisse des Locataires" (something like the tenant protection association) - for Vaud the website would be < http://www.asloca.ch/ > if you want to complain about someone in the German speaking part of Switzerland, check < http://www.mieterverband.ch/ > or in Ticino < http://www.asi-infoalloggio.ch/ >
No if you own the property, then it is best if you contact the "Hauseigentümerverand" (something like house owners association). The link to that is < http://www.hev-schweiz.ch/2929.0.html >.
When we had trouble with an estate agent (was suppose to sell my mums house, but tried to rip her off), we asked for advice from other estate agents, friends that used to be estate agents and also contacted the "Hauseigentümerverand" to get as much information as we somehow could. Then we ended up going to the notary, who wrote a "nice" letter to the estate agency ...
