Then I'll must visit Teoh Asian Restaurant
Teoh Restaurant at Bäckerstasse 37, near Stauffacher Zürich serves Chicken Rice and other Hawker Food specialities like Prawn Curry Mee, Char Kuey Teow, Char Hor Fun, homemade Tofu Fah with brown sugar and many more dishes.
They use to only serve hawker food on Fridays evenings, due to high demands, Teohs now serve Hawker Food daily during lunch and dinner.
I was just there with my hubby to enjoy hainanese Chicken Rice with steaming hot soup. It was balsam to my home sickness. Teohs Restaurant never cease to dissapoint when it come to authencity of hawker food. We have had many dishes there.
If you are more than 4 people and want to have hawker food during lunch time, it would be wise to call for booking,as they can be rather full during lunch time.

It looks like Teoh's has closed down.
We are devastated.
But the food is mainly traditional malay, whereas Teoh is Malaysian Chinese. Will miss Teoh..
Will check out New Asia Market today. Hoping to make Nasi Lemak.
Family Teoh from Teoh Restaurant conveys their thanks and appreciation for all your faithful support towards the business. They have been in business for nearly 20 years providing not only comfort food but also a sense of home for those who had been homesick. I remember the first time when I first discovered Teoh Restaurant, I was pampered from Aunty Teoh, serving me hot tea and the delicious curry noodle soup. She joked and gave me survival advice living in Zurich. I felt like being at home with my parents, as I slurp my noodle soup listening to them advising me.
Uncle & Aunty Teoh are finally retiring to enjoy a quiet life.
I will truly miss them and their food. It would be good if each of you who has been there to write a few words to show appreciation then I can print it out for them to read.
Cheers

p.s. Uncle & Aunty Teoh requested me thank all on english forum. They did add that perhaps their sons might set up a smaller place in the near future. Will keep you guys updated.
Thank you for the update and information regarding Teoh's. It is good to know that Uncle and Auntie Teoh are well and have decided to retire. We just moved to Switzerland 6 weeks ago and were wrapped when we found Teoh's restaurant. We felt so lost last night when we saw the restaurant vacated. Your description of them is spot on - Uncle Teoh gave us his clock parking card 4 weeks ago and taught us how to use it as we had no idea.
Please wish them well and thank them for our two unforgettable dinners.
