Market Research: Börek pricing

Hello,

I was wondering how much you guys would pay for a big tray of börek like this?

1. It is made with beef minced meat and potatoes baked in yufka layers

2. One tray has 20 pieces of börek

3. In my opinion, 2 pieces of börek serve one person (1 portion) so this tray serves 10 people.

4. It is made with love and hygiene..

Thanks!

Could you post photos, please? With measurements of the tray/portions?

Depends. Do you have food handling certifications and a permit that allows you to sell your product in Switzerland?

Here are the pictures ..

No, I do not have a certification for food selling..

I posted the pictures as a comment as I could not edit my original post..

Not sure.

I love well made börek with meat. My mother in law makes really good ones, so my standard is pretty high I prefers the separate ones though as almost all the ones on plates I ever ate in my life are either too dry or too soggy.

I would sell smaller, single ones.

My börek is also delicious, all my guests love it..

To answer your question and not dwell on permits/hygiene stands/business licence, which you would deal with at some point: visit a few Turkish delis around your area, compare prices, quality. There is one at Zug train station: sadly, their boreks are awful. And I don't remember the price.

Yours look delicious /and your oven is spotless!!!/. I would pay 7 franks for one as a treat. I love the ones with caramelised onions and potatoes.

Good luck!

Thanks for your nice words!
