[Maybe Swiss German] can anyone translate message

I have just been whatsapped from a wrong number!

This isnt going through my translate app, even on "detect language". Is it Swiss? Anyone know what it means? (Obviously i know what the first sentence means.!) Here:

Happy Birthday Guido! Grüess us em verrägnete Unterland vo dä Familie Hofer

Happy bday Guido! Greetings from the rainy lowlands, from the Hofer family. Simples, that one.

Now write back "Danke viel mol, ich bi im Adamskostum und ich freue mich uber Sie lecke...liebe Gruess, Guido"

It means thank you.

you had better not reply like that

I think Pixie probably knows enough German to work out what that one means.

Paha, yes I know what that means and even if I didn't do you think I'd trust any replies off here enough to message someone blind haha!

Thanks for the message translation, has satisfied my curiosity! Poor Guido! Missing his birthday message, and the Hofer family think he's rude to not say thanks!

You obviously have a recycled number ...... I'm going to hazard a guess you're with Swisscom.

You're now the reincarnated Guido.

Why not write back that they got the wrong number?

I had to do that once, when I had a text from a beauty salon confirming a home visit and asking the lady to prepare towels etc for her treatment.

lol even I got it

Just out of curiosity: Is this really grammatically correct? Yes, there is grammar in dialects. Any Swiss German native, please?

Nope, it's not grammatically correct...

Ha, yes I am with swisscom! Until tomorrow anyway, when I get my shiney new contract, with a number that I chose, it has my birth month and year at the end! Looking forward to getting it as I can never remember my number.

I did, no reply yet!

Ah OK They probably won't reply But I'm sure they appreciated that you let them know.

I once had a long Whatsapp (or SMS, I forget which) conversation with a (presumably) teenage girl, who thought I was her friend, Omar. It took me forever to convince her that I was, in fact, a somewhat bemused 40-something English bloke. She kept saying things like "I know it's you", "stop messing around" and "why are you writing in english?".

Why it finally twigged that I was who I said I was, she told me to delete her number, or she was calling the police .

Aww haha! My friend had a wrong number recently, obv from a guy who'd been given it by some girl at a club that wasn't as into him as she'd made out to be... my friend played along but she posted screenshots on facebook and invited us all to tell her what replies to give! the poor bloke. Funny though!

It isn`t correct. It depends if Guido wants to be licked. That would be in Züridüütsch: "Ich bin im Adamskostüm und würd mich freue, wenn Sie mich läcked"

Or, if Guido is the one who wants to lick: "Ich würd mich freue, wenn ich Sie chan läcke!" ;-)
