Mead-making - looking for diammonium phosphate

Quick questions to those brewing mead - from what I understand the yeast needs to be fed with extra nutrients, and the most common option seems to be diammonium phosphate. However for whatever reason it doesn't seem to be available in Switzerland, not for this purpose. Local drougerie made eyes and said that if I really need it, they can synthesize it for me.

What else can be fed to yeast when making mead, adjusted to Swiss specifics? Thanks!

Nevermind.

Dr. Oetker in Germany, you need feed grade as DAP is also a principal source of phpophate in fertilisers

Not sure if mead yeast needs the same nutes as other alcohol yeasts, but I assume so.

They are EXTREMELY helpful, and speak English (at least one of them does )

Thank you, both.

The need to get into mead making was as spontaneous as it was very urgent. I had to order everything yesterday

I ended up getting things from sios.ch. The nutrients I found on AlcoFermBrew. Delivery is a bit expensive, but they have everything and ship to CH. Also got a 5L carboy off Ricardo. So, yeah, a couple of day and I get brewing.

PS. Also got an advice elsewhere that DAP can be substituted with double-boiled baker's yeast in a pinch.

I do mainly beer; if you are ever in a pinch for fermentation tanks - let me know. I have a few 30-60l barrels + airlocks. You're welcome to an airlock or two if you need The barrels can be had from Jumbo/Bauhaus quite cheap, and the airlocks are dime a dozen on ali.
