Medicinal cannabis Oil for a third party

Ok just to start off, this is a serious thread, so please no jokes. A relative of mine in Serbia has developed throat cancer and it is pretty advanced. We have been reading up on the benefits of cannabis oil in reducing some of the symptons as well as other reports (unproven) that the oil can help fight the cancer. Now in Serbia, there is no avenue of legally obtaining the oil as it is not recognised as a cure. Does anyone know a way (legal) in any other European country in obtaining the oil for medicinal uses ?

Weed can be bought in many places and although illegal, is very common and easy to get hold of. Using a vapouriser (a battery powered machine) rather than smoking it means you will be getting Cannabis Oil in the same form as buying it. This is the easiest way to get Cannabis Oil.

No, as it’s not really legal in Europe I don’t think. Maybe the Netherlands possibly, but that’s it. Otherwise America.

Or google “how to make cannabis oil for cancer” and find out how to make your own.

Did he get the throat cancer from smoking cannabis? Maybe more cannabis won't be any help at all?

For a third party eh? For vaping?

Careful with this. A lot of people are blowing up their houses attempting this. They stuff a glass tube with material, run butane through it, catch the drippings, condense it down as 'honey'. I saw it on youtube.

Wrong way.

A friend of my daughter's made some in my kitchen a couple years ago in a saucepan filled with alcohol and cannabis.

I would not do it with a gas hob, and without good ventilation, though.

If you want to be more ecological, one could recuperate the ethanol for another use as in a still, in fact one of those personal grappa stills they sell around here should work quite nicely.

It sounds like some work. I heard they are available in ready-to-use cartridges for eCigarettes, legally manufactured and sold in Colorado.

Up til now only synthetic cannabis and one oil (from Herisau) is prescribed. But the effort to get there is usually not worth it.

In the 80s/90s cannabis oil was treated like Heroin, Cocain. That changed.

At the moment you pay a fee of CHF 100 if the police catches you with less than 10g Marihuana, 5g Hash or 2.5g oil. More will lead to a legal process.

Oil is hard to get hold of and somewhat difficult and messy to make at home.

If your intentions are for making cannabis foods, which I suspect to be the case in light of the condition, although vaporising as one other poster mentioned is an option though I suspect could be equally irritating as beneficial, then use hash.

On getting fined, if the officer should ask how long you have been using, they can fine you for your previous usage. But if you were to say, "I just tried it yesterday", they would be limited to what they can fine. <- A third party told me this.

For edibles, I believe sauteeing in lots of butter, then straining out the solids would do.

Any type of inhalation obviously isn't ideal in this situation. Someone who isn't me have heard from a friend of a friend that placing weed in butter and at the lowest temperature (important) for a few hours, stirring occasionally and then let cool until solid creates a cannabis-butter that can be used in baked goods - watch the dosage, it can get stronger than you think.

Good luck!

High-quality CBD oil* available in the UK at:

*Legal in the UK. Does not contain any THC (the bit that gives you a trip)

Are there no marijuana dispensaries here?

In Vancouver, Canada, there are compassion clubs selling marijuana and marijuana products for those with medical issues. Our doctor (in Canada) suggested we tried it and just warned that some people react funny to marijuana - I suppose this falls under the "heads up" to the humongous list of side-effects of any medication.

A letter from the doctor was required. Even though marijuana is illegal, the law turns a blind eye and doesn't create any problems like closing down these places - otherwise those 6 BILLION DOLLARS from the marijuana industry (who are these people???) would have to be taxed.

Although some places look seedy, it is pretty safe to get the stuff needed. We tried several concoctions. One type worked very nicely - a CBD glycerin solution - no highs, very good sleep, reduced anxiety levels.

The oil you are asking about gave my a high - I am the guinea pig for marijuana related stuff - and my OH got a high and muscle spasms, but not for too long, about 30 min. of YMCA coordinated movements - very funny on one hand, but on the other hand, I had the phone next to me for a 911 call in case of something serious.

OP, most importantly you need to determine if the oil must contain THC (THC is the illegal drug part) in order to help. Without THC it should be legal to transport pretty much any amount, anywhere.

If you need the the oil including THC, if you buy in CH you'll need to get it across more than one country borders, not really something advisable.

In either case you may want to contact the Apotheke Langenthal (google "aptheke langenthal fankhauser") on how to best proceed. That drug store specialices in medical cannabis use, which under certain circumstances is legal in CH since the last drug law revision a few years ago. They won't be able to help you to do anything illegal, particularly smuggle it to Serbia, but they may know the legal situation in ex-yugoslavia countries and if there are medical exceptions, or else direct you to people who know. What you are looking for may be their "Dronabinol".

Edit:

Up to 1% THC are allowed in Switzerland, that may make ordinary hemp a viable alternative. Regulations in other countries may of course differ.

Here's a great article on what's going on with this subject locally:

That should keep you busy either replicating the recipe or looking into acquiring the tincture. If you're successful, please report back!

I'm 100% sure you can buy this stuff in the Netherlands:

You might even be able to have it shipped here, depending on what you would like to order:

Not sure whether it's legal and when it stops being legal though. In the Netherlands, these kind of things are somewhat of a grey area.
