Read all abbaaaat it...
"Transition in works out that overweight people are often self-conscious about their body and would like to lose some weight shocker".
I wait with baited breath for the next sliver of insight.

Untrue. I don't have a pot belly - I don't mind them.
I can't see how the David Brent look will ever catch on?

Why have a six-pack when you can carry a little beer barrel??

I remember an old T-Shirt:
"It's not a Beer Gut.... It's a Fuel Tank for a SEX machine !!!"
I'm embarassed about my belly
was super fit(wait did a man just say that?) a couple years ago but things really went downhill from lack of sports, being sick etc.
The irony is I'm still much more active and sporty than most of my friends.
last year when I saw some pictures of me I was in shock and terribly embarassed; still am bothered about the way I am right now.
Fixed that for you. Oh, whoops! I seemed to have wandered into the wrong thread. Where'd that pedants one go again...?
I say a highly visible/defined beer gut is not great, but I like me a little spare tire to squeeze.
Hate to tell ya but skinny guys are just as self conscious about their bodies as the rest of you. I just wish people would stop trying to feed me.
I've got a question - doesn't it give you backache?
Pregnant women are always complaining about backache - which isn't surprising with the extra weight they are carrying around during pregnancy.
Just wondering as if this really is what women prefer then I may have to work on it.

...then the pig replies "What, him? Oh, I won him in a raffle."
True... but having said that, I would rather be skinny than overweight...
*slaps*
Yeah yeah, like a penis but smaller, heard it before
So would that make transition a master bate... err, I'll get me coat
From girl's point of you, if you are a bear type, belly is ok, in fact makes one look muscly. If you are a tall lanky type or short lanky type, a big belly probably looks pretty strange. So it is about the frame and how fit/strong one is. I think really weight conscious guys are out of fashion, though.
I love my husband's belly (a.k.a. the panza)! I even tell the belly I love him...
I think people should have bellies, especially if you like to cook. Can you imagine living with and cooking for a person who is constantly dieting, not enjoying life? Men would look manlier here if there was a bit more chunk on'em. It's like with girls and butts, show me a guy who wants his girl's butt flat rather than with a bit of junk in the trunk..
Just because someone doesn't have a big belly, it doesn't automatically mean they don't enjoy food, or have ever been on a diet.
