Anybody know if someone can perform the regular MFK test (every 2 years for non-new cars) in another country than CH? Perhaps in a collaborating test center?
No because those are not according to the local standards.
I also doubt the german TÜV will do that for a foreign car or any other country
Not 100% sure, but an MFK in Liechtenstein should be valid in Switzerland too.
Only for a car registered in Liechtenstein at the time of the test.
MFK has to be performed at an official workshop in the canton of registration.
Can also be another canton.
Actually you’re sort-of right. But it needs the permission of the registered canton with associated paperwork.
