Did anyone use Migros Bank's online "PrivatKredit" before?
I am planning to use 10.000 CHF credit and there is exactly %2 difference in the effective interest rate between "online" option and "from the office" option in MigrosBank. And according the comparis.ch, Migros Bank is the cheapest option.
How long it takes to complete all the procedures and get the money? Is it faster if I stick to "from the bank office" option instead of "online"? And what are the steps that I have to complete? How do they search my credibility? (this last one is just out of curiosity )
I will use a credit for the first time in my life, so I am sorry if I asked silly questions.
I am acutally in the middle of a application to finance a car.
1) Online and the Bank is almost the same. At the end of the application online, you just print it out and post it (not submit it online). You have to send a copy of your B permit and last 3 months pay slips.
2) I got a letter and confirmation in principle back within 3 days. You have to sign these forms and they ask you to get the Betreibungsamt from your Kriesburo (credit check). I just went to the branch with everything and the women at the customer services explained where I needed to sign and took copies of everything and sent it on.
I am waiting on the final agreement to be done.
I have also started a application with GE, they seemed to be more English friendly but higher rates and less professional then Migro, their branch/office in Lowenstr was worse then a local council office back in London, they did say they would get the Betreibungsamt for me, but I needed to provided more information then they initially said in the application (bank statements, more pay slips), its seems to be a case by case . I have put it on hold until I hear back from Migro
Just to let you know, the money is now in my account.
It was simple and easy, took about 14 days from submitting the form to getting the money, if I has been a bit quicker (lost 4 days) with the credit check forms and got it as cash at migros bank (instead of a transfer to my credit suisse) then it woulf have been even quicker.
Not sure if everything application is so quick, I am on a B permit for a year and asked for about 15% of my annual income, so not a massive credit risk.
