What can I do in such a situation? I paid for the order which I never received.
Last week I ordered couple of things from Galaxus. The parcel was supposed to be delivered by Swiss Post. The consignment status shows that it has been delivered on April 6th. However I never received the package. I went to the post office and enquired about the consignment. They told me that it has been left in front of the house and no one signed it because it wasn't necessary. However I am unable to find it.
I would contact Galaxus about that, explain the situation, and they should issue a refund. A few years ago, I ordered something through Galaxus and it never arrived even though it said that it had been delivered. I contacted Galaxus and they issued a refund without a problem.
It sounds like the error is on the side of whoever shipped it (a third party?) and that they did not require a signature.
A few times I’ve had shipments diverted to one of those “My Post 24” boxes that Swiss post has. You open the box with the QR code they send you. Secure and convenient, if you have one near by.
This would be perfect. There is none of these in the radius of 15km from me.
Do you have your settings with the post set that they can leave the package? If yes, I think there is not much you can do as they followed your orders. If not, then it's on the post for leaving the package unattended.
In any case, I would start with Galaxus with whom you have a sale contract and tell them that you never received the package.
