I am looking for a bike dealer in the Basel area that can fit some new brake pads to my Triumph Speed Triple, maybe also new tyres. Can anyone recomend anywhere ?

I've never been there (not yet been anywhere) but my mate is a bike nut and rates this fella.
There was a Triumph dealer in Binzen but last time I was around there he seemed permanently closed.
brake pads you can do by yourself and takes a few mins.
for tyres have a look in germany - euromaster does bike tyres and is quite cheap.
Thanks for the tips, I ended up using No Mercy just for fitting the pads, I could have done them on my own but I don't have many tools out here and wanted them sorting so I could go into the alps this weekend.
Fabian at No Mercy was very good, he had some problems with my rear caliper being siezed (well that is what riding all weathers on UK roads does for you) so the cost was somewhat higher than the quote and I dare say at least twice as much as UK prices but this is die Schweiz after all.
Some very cool bikes in there also, a matt grey Vyrus GSXr streetfighter was astounding.
Tyres will be cheaper in CH than France or Germany due to lower VAT.

They will deliver to local partners. They ship from Germany but handle all customs issues.
Bought for cars & bikes over tha last 10 years no issues at all.
yep but the fitting costs for most places are mad - 70chf being an average !
I paid 45 Euro in France, at current exchange rates it's obviousely less but will 15 euros extra VAT on the tyre it's pretty much a wash.
