We don't have much to move, the most valuable thing is the piano (value of 4000Fr), others are worth at most a few hundreds of franken and we have less than 10 pieces of furniture to move.

If you have household (hausratversicherung) policy call your Insurance company about coverage. Sounds fishy that they wait til moving day.
On our home insurance policy, moves between homes are included.
