Moving to Gland

Hi

I am thinking of moving to Gland and I wondered if any of you had any feedback about the town and area. I have visited briefly but know nothing about the practicalities of living there. What are the shops like? are there any sports facilities, yoga, swimming or is everything to be found in Nyon?

Hi,

I live in Nyon and it is a great place to be. By the lake and lots to do. My friend lives in Gland and to visit only takes 2 mins.

Consider Nyon it is great.

I have lived there for 7 years!!.... there is alot to do and also a 10min train ride to Geneva. So not like you are living far away from it all at all.

Gland isnt that bad... maybe best to have a car.

Try Nyon... also check www.lacote.ch etc.

Well.. Gland is not a bad idea but it sure doesn't have any life.

You don't see any people walking in the streets!

I, personally live in Gland and don't think of it as a good place to live.

Anyway, there's always Nyon which is really close. =)
