Although I messed a bit with the rules, so this is not my 1st Post, I use it to say Hi and thank you for this great Forum.
We are currently living in West Germany with 7 & 9 y/o, moving for sure this coming Summer to CH, and looking for a Flat in Stans, as my Wife is originally from LU area and has a good Friend there, also with Kids. My Wife has found a Job and I will be looking for one in the Software QA field (just in case someone here has any Lead )
I stumbled upon some EF Members living in the Stans area, and would be great to hear a bit, here or via PM, is it really an area that has some more foreigners, and would i really be able to hear some English there... or other Languages.... I hope that the Pilatus Factory does contribute to this wishful thinking ..
Where we live now, going down to the SpielPlatz is like meeting new Families from different places, every Month. I assume it would be different there, but still, hoping...
Not sure how famous that is, but in Germany Football is the "thing" amongst Kids, and although there are dozens of Clubs in each City, there is a long waiting List and hard to get accepted. At such, my Son has been playing in a good Club and already advanced, it is my biggest concern actually, not to have a place at the local FC Stans Club.... Any Parents here with Kids there or other "Vereins" ? Is it so hard like in Germany?
