I'm possibly moving to Zurich at the end of Sept From Dublin. If anyone's got any tips about life in Zurich I.e. where to live (I'll be working at the university), where to go out for a drink etc, please get in touch!
Best

Think of a specific question, then do a search. 9 times out of 10 you'll get all the info you need.
If you genuinely don't find the answer, start a new thread but please be specific. Where to live and go for a drink are not good questions and you won't get much of a response.
Welcome to the English Forum!
Well I'm a fellow Irish girl just moved over to Zurich in March and actually living beside the university. Its an amazing city and I'm sure you'll find somewhere to live easily although it can tend to be more expensive around the ETH area due to its location.
As for drinks, you cant go wrong with Paddy Reilly's, good Guinness, nice friendly staff and its great to just go in to hear a voice from home sometimes
I'm still discovering a lot about the place myself but if I can be of any help to you just ask
Paddy Reilly's
Oliver Twist
Lion's Pub though they switched up the beer selection.
Bonnie Prince

If you're into sports, there is a GAA club here in Zürich with Hurling and Camogie teams in the European GAA competition.
If you need any more details, have a look at www.hurling.ch or feel free to PM me!
Made it over and just getting settling in to new job and house etc, although that's not set in stone yet so if anyone has a free room
off to enjoy some beers in the sun by the lake, have a good weekend!
