Need bank account / IBAN for one-off transfer

Hello,

I left Switzerland about five years ago for the EU and would now, belatedly, like to close my Freizuegigkeitskonto. For this I need to provide the Swiss pension fund with my bank account details / IBAN to send the franc-denominated money to (that I will then convert to EUR).

I don’t have a CHF account anymore , so need to open one now only for this transfer. However, this is proving to be more complicated than I anticipated:

Retail banks will not open a bank account for a single transfer. I looked at Transferwise and Payoneer where they offer personal multicurrency accounts, but not in CHF. With Revolut and Interactive Brokers you can receive CHF, but as far as I can tell these are pooled accounts in the company’s name, not "personal" IBAN’s.

I cannot be the first person to encounter this issue, but cannot find a solution. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Can they seriously not send it to an international IBAN?

Wise and Revolut both have Swiss IBANs for paying in from Swiss accounts, you just need to add your account reference number. Wise do have CHF I use it all the time.
