In Basel you have the jazz bar The Bird's Eye, famous for organizing nice jazz events. There is also Roche'n Jazz, one Friday/month they have a nice jazz concert at the Tinguely Museum, in the afternoon, from 16 to 18pm, the next one will be May 30th, a Brazilian quartet - very good. If you go with a Roche employee you only pay half of the museum entrance - a bargain!

What do you mean mimi ? That there is not much music taste around Basel ? I enjoy going to gis in Zurich and Lucern but I've seen a couple of nice ones in Basel. And yeah the bird's eyes is a cool club
