Hi all,
Just settling down into Zurich life, moved from London earlier this month.
So far been enjoying winding down after a busy year, but now wanting to explore a bit more and meet new people.
So where are the good bars for meeting fellow Brits?
What is there to do with free time during the week (I have quite a bit of time to burn between now and new year)?
Anyone know where to buy crumpet rings?
No doubt as I settle more i will be more and more active here.
Hope to see some of you about.
Have a great day.

Hi,
Thanks for the first reply. Got a place in Witikon.
I think I've seen Paddys on the way into town.

One can't forsake the home comforts.
Co-ops are getting pretty good with stocking up on the English goods.
Other then that, there are online choices, but be prepared to pay a premium.
Alternatively, Orel Fussli have a small selection of english goods, like marmite for example.

Anyone here know about rules around brewing ones own British ales?
Figure I've got a spare room to use for something when I don't have guests...
Not sure on rules, but when you find out, would love to sample some if approved
Welcome fellow Brit :-)
Yeh Paddys is packed with expats, I'm often there but I cant say I've met many Brits :-) great crew there though.
