other than home, Starbee, trampolino, planeta magica, flughafen, Mcdonald's, park im gruene, and zurich zoo
My son is soon turing 4 and we attended many birthday parties in these places.. so was wondering if anyone tried something different that kids of that age would enjoy.. and adults too )
Gemeinde Zentrum for Kids ( GZ Wollishofen ) has one big and beautiful Plato near the Zuirch lake, with barbecue space, grass, sand, kids play-ground, inner Kafeteria and room with lots of toys... You can make a reservation, I think... Google it if you want. (GZ-ZH.ch)
Why not go to the park or badi? The kids have fun running around, bring some food and drinks and organise a few races (if there is space). Of course you do have to have a back up plan in case of bad weather.
My friend in Canada had her 3 year olds birthday at a bowling alley and they had a blast. Now the alleys in NA might be more kid friendly than here, but it might be something to consider?
There's a disco bowling above Toys R Us in Dietlikon and also a big place near the train station in Schlieren.
I highly recommend The Apple Tree in Erlenbach, ZH. http://www.apple-tree.ch/ Very nice woman named Suzanne who runs it and hosts many birthday parties. She has access to many entertainers and can build a party around a specific theme for your child. Check her site out, you`ll find the party info on the main page. I actually do the entertainment for Aikido (Martial Arts) themed parties there, have done it for both boys and girls parties and they love it.
My daughter was invited to a party at a lama ranch in Bonstetten www.tiererlebnis.ch . She had a lot of fun and came home with a keychain she had made out of lama wool.
Another daughter of mine was invited to a party at a bakery where the kids got to make their own loaf of bread to take home.
We hired a magician once ( www.danwhite.ch ) and the kids just loved it (also really fun for parents to watch). Did a combined birthday party for our 4, 6 and 8 year-old at the time, as it was pretty expensive.
My daughter had her 7th Birthday party at The Apple Tree in Erlenbach...Aikido themed! The kids all had an amazing time and the teachers did a great job. : )
Suzanne from The Apple Tree is a lovely lady and was a great help organizing the party. Its a great space for toddler parties too.
Yes, of course! They are fun too...if the weather is nice and you can spread them out a bit in a garden or something. But small flats and 15 screaming kids for 2-3 hours don't always mix. : )
I dont see the party details in the apple tree website. Does anyone know about the rates? Im looking for a venue for my sons 3rd birthday next month (besides starbie/trampolino). Thanks
