We have been in Zug for over 5 years, so we have been "around the block". Anything new open in the last 6 months or so that anyone would recommend?

There's a new place in Baar - top floor of some "high rise" - but I don't know the name.

Lots of other places, but those are the 2 places I tend to gravitate towards when I am in Zug, which is not often. ‎

My parents in the 1970ies and early 80ies often, on Saturday or Sunday, went to the two well-known fish-restaurants on the lake in Zug. But stopped going there when the service went downhill.

New one in Baar at the main intersection, just opened. Haven't been yet, will try in a week or two I think.

Little Thai take away on Baarerstrasse near Lindenpark stop. It is a bare bones small menu take away or eat in. But good.

We like Spago, Puccinis, Cha Cha, Guggital and Restaurant Freimann. Tisch Bar Theater in Rotkreuz, Steakhouse Bahnhof in Mettmenstetten, Restaurant Bauernhof at Talacher or Blasenberg if we want to drive...

Restaurant Baarcity (which in Dutch means 'city in labour'), new restaurant at 10th floor. Been there last Wednesday and it was really good. Nice ambiance, great food, great view. Left my sunglasses there and got a call the day after that they've found it.

There is a restaurant called Milchsuedi in Cham,

it's not new, but the owner changed few months ago.

The new lady is quite passionate about her place, the food is reasonably priced and I liked it.
