Hi everyone,

I wanted to know what are the most popular newspapers to read in Suisse Romande. I know there is Le Matin, Le Temps and Tribune de Geneve. Since I don't live in Swizterland and I don't know which is the best all around newspaper to read (not the most widely read necessarily since some newspaper are free) on a daily basis, I wanted to know if you were to recommend me a daily paper to read, which one would it be?

I would also like to know the same thing for the Italian speaking part of Switzerland.

I am not interested in the German part if you want to include it anyway go ahead.

I actually found a threat that speaks of this.

It seems that Le Temps is of highest quality?

But it did not have any info on the Italian part.

In the Ticino I would plump for the Corriere del Ticino.

I choose Le Temps for more quality comment and opinion especially on national and international issues. For a quick overview and coverage of local issues I read 24Heures or Le Matin. All three have online versions.

I've never got to grips with the Valais newspaper La Nouvelliste, I hate the format and it seems very dry:

I've never read Neuchatel's paper L'Express.
